Uster Top® 32.5% SC Fungicide – Description

Uster Top® 32.5% SC is a broad-spectrum, systemic and contact foliar fungicide used to prevent and control a wide range of fungal diseases in crops. It combines two active ingredients with different modes of action to provide both protective and curative disease control while helping reduce the risk of fungicide resistance. (Twig A Chemicals)

Active ingredients

• Azoxystrobin – 200 g/L
• Difenoconazole – 125 g/L (Twig A Chemicals)

Mode of action

• Azoxystrobin (Strobilurin, FRAC 11) inhibits fungal respiration, preventing spore germination and fungal growth.
• Difenoconazole (Triazole, FRAC 3) inhibits sterol biosynthesis in fungal cell membranes, providing both preventive and curative activity. (Twig A Chemicals)

Target diseases
Uster Top is recommended for the control of:

• Wheat: Stem rust and yellow rust.
• French beans: Rust, angular leaf spot, and anthracnose.
• It is also labeled for diseases such as leaf spots and black leg in cabbages, and downy mildew and purple blotch in onions in some markets. (Agroduka)
